Services offered by TiFS cover all aspects involved in project and construction of plants for buildings (feasibility study, preliminary, definitive and executive projects, shop drawings). TiFS also provides supervision of construction and consulting for all different authorization documentation to be required to or produced for public offices.

Building Performance
Four years ago TiFS founded a specific group destined to develop know-how concerning building performances, both considering energy and environmental comfort (microclimate, acoustics, lighting). This group exploits of the most advanced and recent calculation software devices (Radiance, Fluent, Energy Plus, Ramsete, Soundplan, FDS, etc.).

Architectural Acoustic
Nowadays environmental comfort is strictly related to acoustical conditions. Choosing materials and technologies is very important since the beginning of a project, so that the buildings will provide high comfort standards. TiFS consequently considers acoustical aspects between the most important features to be considered since the initial phases of the project.

Environmental Acoustic
Every new building and infrastructure have a huge impact over the realization site and existing acoustical situation. With the use of calculation software it is possible to evaluate the impact, provide a wide range of possible solutions and manage evolving events.

Lighting Engineering
The lighting designer that is even more required because lighting design is nowadays a form of art and expression, emphasizing cultural buildings and monuments as well as modern architecture.
TiFS has increased a specific 15 year-old know how developing its own and original point of view concerning light and illumination systems.
The day-lighting team is involved in research on optimization of day lighting and modelling of artificial lighting solutions. It developed numerical modelling techniques that can be used to study a wide range of visual performance indicators for both natural and artificial lighting scenarios.

TiFS is also involved in projects regarding light pollution, simulating the lighting scheme and surrounding environment, to allow predictions of the impact of both internal and external lighting schemes on neighbouring areas to be evaluated.
